How to copy user account passwords between Windows servers or stations?

To copy users along with their passwords, where do I have to install IDEAL Administration?

I have to copy a hundred or so user accounts from a self-contained NT4 server to a self-contained Windows 2000 server. Will I have to install IDEAL Administration on the Windows 2000 server?

Before IDEAL Administration version 3.6, you did indeed have to install the program on the target server in order to successfully retrieve passwords.

This constraint disappeared with version 3.6. Now, provided you have administrator privileges on the target server (administrator type access), you can add user accounts over the network.
