How to deploy the execution of an executable "exe." file or script on a network?

This action ( ) allows to select a script or program that must be executed on servers and workstations an also to select its execution mode. This execution can be remote or local.
Par défaut, le script ou programme à exécuter sera considéré comme distant.

• Remote execution:

Remot execution means that the script or program is located on another computer of the network and it needs to be remotely executed from each target computer using his network path..
For example: \\POINTDEV\MySharedScript\script.bat.

• Local execution:

Local execution means that the script or program, and all the necessary files to its proper execution, are automatically copied on all servers and workstations concerned by the distribution during the installation phase, and removed at the end of execution..

Executable action allows the execution of a script file (.bat, .cmd, .exe, .com, etc...) locally or remotely as well as any other kind of file associated to an executable (.txt, .doc, .wav, .avi, .ppt, .html, .xls, ...) in local or remote mode.
Before executing the file, the agent will check for his presence.

It is also possible to enter arguments for the execution of the script and to join files that would be necessary for the execution of the script.
To join files, you just have to click on Join, it will open a dialog box to select the files that have to be transferred on the servers and workstations before the execution of the script.
In the case you have chosen a local execution, the selected file is automatically added to this list.

IMPORTANT : Copied files are automatically removed at the end of execution of the script or program.
